We welcome groups!

Quote from San Francisco Chronicle Bring your group to stay at the Pigeon Point Lighthouse Hostel! We welcome all types of groups to our coastside retreat, perched above the thundering surf of the Pacific.

Both overnight accommodations and meeting/event space are available, and the hostel frequently hosts groups of friends and family as well as professional, social, and religious organizations for retreats, workshops, reunions, and other special events.

Group accommodations

The hostel provides both shared and private rooms in historic lighthouse keepers’ quarters, perched on a bluff above the Pacific. The hostel is divided into 5 buildings: 4 houses offering overnight accommodations, and the fog signal building which is available for meetings and events.

Groups of all sizes from 8 to 30 can be accommodated overnight.

Meeting and event space

The hostel has several rooms available for meetings, workshops, or special events, including the historic fog signal building. For outdoor events, groups can take advantage of the oceanside boardwalk and outdoor deck with picnic tables and barbecue.

Maximum capacity for a daytime function is 40.

Some equipment is available, including a digital projector, projection screen, television, and VCR.

Group dining

Guests can bring their own groceries to prepare themselves, or hire a caterer. The nearest town is Pescadero, which does have a couple of dining options, but it's a few miles from the hostel.

The hostel has three fully equipped kitchens with dining rooms. For outdoor dining, an outdoor deck with picnic tables and barbecue is available.
