Games And Music Night at Marilyn's on K

Marilyn's on K Street is both an after work pub and weekend club venue located in downtown Sacramento. Featuring live music, a wide-screen TV, a pool table, and an outdoor patio with fireplace and fountains, Marilyn's is a place designed to blow off a little steam.

San Francisco International Comedy Competition

Many Thursdays, Sacramento State University presents free events that are open to the public, including film screenings, live music, guest lectures, and stand-up comedy.

On October 1, head to the campus' University Union Ballroom for the San Francisco International Comedy Competion. A free comedy show hosted by Dwight Slade, the performance features five professional comedians competing in the final rounds of this annual laughfest.
