Contemporary World Dance Performance

Napoles Ballet Theatre (NBT), China Dance, and the San Francisco Youth Ballet present an evening of contemporary dance from around the world at CounterPULSE.

Luis Napoles' NBT performs cutting-edge, athletic, new ballet. The evening also includes new work from emerging choreographers, and pieces from the locally acclaimed China Dance Company.

Devil's Gulch/Barnabe Mountain Tour

Join a Marin County Parks docent for an excursion through Devil's Gulch in the Point Reyes National Seashore.
 
See if the rare leatherwood is still in bloom in the gulch, then head up the trail for lunch at the top of Barnabe Mountain.

Audubon Canyon Ranch Nature Walk

Join Biologist John Kelly for a nature walk through Audubon Canyon Ranch, and learn about the flora and fauna that populate the area.

Kelly has worked and lived at this site on the east shore of Tomales Bay for 21 years, and shares his intimate knowledge of the birds, fish, plants and the complex ecology surrounding the ranch.

Birds and Herring on the San Francisco Bay

Between December and March, silver herring are gold to local fisherman and a great source of food for birds on San Francisco Bay. Join a Bay Model Visitor's Center docent on this Sausalito waterfront walk to learn about important events in the lives of these interdependent species.

Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced birder, everyone is welcome to participate in this all ages excursion. Bring field guides and binoculars if you'd like, and be sure to dress for the outdoors!
