Hostel Rates
The Point Montara Lighthouse Hostel provides accommodations in former Coast Guard quarters and the historic fog signal building, perched on a bluff above the Pacific.
Guests may choose to stay in shared, gender-specific or co-ed dorms, or in one of 5 rooms reserved for private accommodations.
Shared dorm rooms
Dorm rooms have 3 to 6 beds per room.
- Dorm bed rates: $25.00 - $26.50
There is an additional daily membership fee of $3 per adult for non-HI members.
Private rooms
- Private single/double room: $73.00
- Private triple room: $99.50
There is an additional daily membership fee of $3 per adult for non-HI members.
Family dorm bed rate
While most families choose to stay in a private room (see above), for those who opt to stay in a shared dorm room, we offer half-off the dorm bed rate for children ages 12 and under who are traveling with their parent or legal guardian. To receive the family dorm bed rate, please book by phone at (650) 728-7177.
Please note that the family dorm bed rate does not apply to groups of 8 or more.
