HI USA’s annual Sleep For Peace celebrations shine a light on our mission to inspire a better understanding of people, places and cultures through travel and, specifically, through staying at our hostels. Each year, to coincide with the United Nations’ International Day of Peace, our hostels host a series of events which emphasize this mission and bring our guests together to take part in a variety of peace-building activities.
For the 2016 Sleep For Peace, HI USA hostels around the country will be “shining a blue light for peace” – a visual symbol to raise awareness that small actions can support peace – and inviting our guests to join in on the individual festivities. Take a look at what’s happening at a hostel near you!
