Point Montara Lighthouse Hostel is set against the dramatic and breathtaking

Just 25 miles south of San Francisco, the hostel is both an idyllic retreat and a convenient base for exploring nearby Half Moon Bay. It also offers easy access to a wide range of outdoor recreation, including hiking, biking, swimming, surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, horseback riding, whale watching, or just relaxing on the beach.

Kitchen and diningThe hostel has two spacious self-service kitchens for guests to prepare their own meals. The kitchens are fully equipped with stoves, ovens, microwave, and ample refrigerator/freezer space. Pots and pans, dishes, and utensils are also provided.
For dining, guests may opt for one of the indoor dining rooms with ocean views, or the outdoor areas with picnic tables and barbecue.
Also take advantage of the hostel’s espresso bar, serving fair-trade organic coffee from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.
