Swanton's Coastways Ranch, located 7 miles south of the Pigeon Point Lighthouse Hostel on Highway 1, is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the summer for berry picking!
Pick to your heart's content (be sure to nibble a little as you go) and pay for berries by the pound. Prices are set each season and are generally much more affordable than at local markets.
Starting in mid-June, pick organic strawberries.
Starting mid-July, the organic olallieberries are ready.
Starting in late July, come and pick organic blackberries.
And in December, the organic kiwi season returns!
For questions on what's being picked during your visit, call (831) 469-8804 or check out the farm website, which is updated fairly regularly as to fruit season start dates and per-pound prices.
Stay at the Pigeon Point Lighthouse Hostel, a historic hostel in a beautiful, coastal setting.
