Abbott's Lagoon Walk with the Point Reyes Bird Observatory

Join members of the Point Reyes Bird Observatory on their monthly bird walk through the National Seashore.

In September, learn about the Snowy Plover while exploring Abbott's Lagoon. Led by a PRBO biologist specializing in these threatened birds, this special walk focuses on the conservation and protection of the Snowy Plovers.

The walk also coincides with the fall migration, so you'll have a chance to see some of the waterfowl and shorebirds that stop at the Lagoon during their long journeys.

Meet at the Abbott's Lagoon trailhead parking lot.
